About Me
Damien Kennedy
My wife and I moved from Missouri over 15 years ago. I have a son and a daughter. I have worked as a photographer and a graphic designer with a splash of insurance mixed in. I took on the role of inventory/compliance manager within the agricultural field because they needed someone that is knowledgeable and has strong analytical skills to keep the public safe from a growing industry.
I was chairman of Legislative District 2 for two years; I have run my local PTO as president; volunteered as boots on the ground for campaigns for years. I have been a PC in my community for almost as many years as I have lived in Amado. I volunteered to help guide youth in Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts through Eagle Scouts.
I am blue collar through and through, from watching my grandfather as a butcher and farmer to helping my father as a union electrician, I learned what it meant to work hard and complete the work you are asked to do. As your next representative I will bring these work ethics and family values with me as your voice in Phoenix, being that strong, loud voice Southern Arizona needs. Thank you for your support.

Small businesses grow our communities and provide intrinsic jobs that keep Southern Arizona moving. We need to make it easier for this imperative group to be created and expand. They don't need big city red tape limiting their impact. We can change that.

High Schools in Southern Arizona tell their students to head North to find opportunities. Limiting community growth and discouraging these graduates who have no plans for Universities. We need to provide better opportunities and strive for another path for these graduates and young adults.

There are issues with our election system. I believe there are ways to correct those issues that does not limit voting but does secure our elections.
Our votes are the most precious thing we have as citizens. I want to make sure every vote is counted once, every voters vote is their own and elections are secure.
